Aged: 85

Mr. Willis Gerald Gardner, 85, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the
Lexington Place Nursing Home in Jonesboro, AR. He was born December 24, 1930
In Lake City, Arkansas to George and Dollie Beaudeux Gardner. Mr. Gardner
Lived most of his life in Truman, Arkansas, worked at Singer as a machinist
For over forty years and later moved to the Jonesboro area after retirement
In 2001. Mr. Gardner was a member of the Arkansas Goodsam’s Camping Club,
Collected antique cars and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Gardner is survived by his wife: Betty Gardner of Jonesboro, Arkansas;
One daughter: Sandra Eves of Jonesboro, Arkansas;
One sister: Hazel Stone of Jonesboro, Arkansas;
Three grandchildren: Eric Eaves of Truman, Arkansas, Fawnda Griffin and
Heather Hurt of Jonesboro, Arkansas;
Eleven great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Gardner was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Gene and Jack Gardner;
One grandson: Beau Eaves; and his first wife: Lorene Hines Gardner in 1998.

Graveside Service will be Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 3:30pm at Harrisburg
Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg, Arkansas with Bro. Bill Willard
Officiating.

Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements.


Though He's gone, He is not forgotten.
Though absent, He remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, He now rest.
