Born: June 2, 1933
Died: January 5, 2015

Roy Gene Mizell, 81 of Greenwood, Arkansas went to meet his Heavenly Father
on Monday, January 5, 2015. He was the retired owner of Mizell
Chevrolet in Booneville, U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was an
avid camper and horseback rider, lifetime member of the Greenwood First
Baptist Church, past president of the Greenwood Round-Up Club, member of
the Sebastian County Fair Board and Focus on Greenwood.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Greenwood
First Baptist Church with burial at Cross Cemetery under the direction of
McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing was Wednesday from
1 – 8 p.m. at the Greenwood First Baptist Church, where the family will
visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

He is survived by the family that he loved; his wife, Yvonne;
two sons, Randy and wife Melinda Mizell of Greenwood and Rusty Mizell of
Little Rock;
two grandchildren, Bill Mizell and wife, Kelly of Greenwood and Brody Mizell
of Greenwood;
three great grandchildren, Avery, Mason and Chloe Mizell of Greenwood and
several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John P. Walker, Willie Solesbee, Tom Wilhite, Charlie
Bishop, Tommy Basham, Larry Stockton, Delbert Stallings, John Geren and
James Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Meno's Bible Class, Bill Mizell,
Brody Mizell and Ester Sunday School Class.
