Reva D. Rodgers
Born: August 21, 1936
Died: August 21, 2021
Reva D. Rodgers, one day shy of turning 85, passed away
on August 21,
2021,
at home with her loving family by her side.
Reva was born to Noel
and
Chloe Moses in McCaskill, Arkansas on August 22,1936,
and resided
in
McCaskill until she moved to Valley Center,
California in 2016.
She is survived by
her husband of 67 years, Loy P. Rodgers; sister
Thelma Jean Myrick
and husband John of Blevins; daughter Sonya
Campbell and
husband Wayne of Valley Center, CA; son Steve Rodgers
and
wife Jennie of Hot Springs; grandsons Cody Campbell and wife
Natalie of Vista,
CA; Jared Rodgers and wife Jasmine of Hot Springs and
great-grandson
Noah Rodgers and nephews and nieces.
Reva graduated from
Blevins High School in 1954. She held close
friendships
with many of her classmates throughout the years. She was a
cosmetologist
and operated her own business for over 40 years. Reva
was
a member of Friendship Methodist Church in McCaskill.
Services will be
held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions
can be made to the Friendship Cemetery fund.
Though She's gone, She is not forgotten.
Though absent, She remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, She now rests.
