Death: February 1, 2010

Myrtie Felton, 93, of Star City, died Monday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center
in Pine Bluff. She was born June 3, 1916 in Albany, Kentucky to the late Marshall
and Ada Campbell Rector.

She was an inspector for Champion Spark Plugs in Detroit, Michigan, and was a
member of the Church of Christ in Easttowne, Michigan. She was a member of
the Lincoln County Extension Homemakers Council for over 25 years, and was a
member of the Lincoln County Fair, where she had won many sweepstakes for her crafts.

Also preceding her in death was a son, James Harrison; and 2 sisters, Mary Wilkins, Lucille Rector.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lou Mahurin and husband John, of Star City
(Rough & Ready Good Sams President); 2 grandchildren, Jill McCathran, Howard Hunter;
and 6 great grandchildren, Zachary McCathran, Matthew McCathran,
Audrey Hunter, Tyler Hunter, Landon Hunter, Brayden Hunter.

Funeral Services Was Wednesday at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City.
Bro. Stephen Beavers will officiate. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Visitation was Tuesday night, the funeral was Wednesday at Griffin Funeral in Star City.
