Age: 89

Viola Marie Babrick Kennedy age 89 of Austin, Arkansas passed away July 14, 2013.
She was born on July 11, 1924 in Coalgate, OK to her late parents Arnold and Jewel May Allen.
Marie retired from the State Hospital after 35 years of service in Psychiatric Nursing.
In addition, she enjoyed traveling, corresponding with her pen pals from various other
countries, was a faithful student of the Bible and most of all enjoyed her pets Mandy and Susie.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and the Aquilla and Priscilla Sunday
School Class.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years William A. Kennedy;
two step-daughters, Cindy Neal of Austin, AR and LeVonna Uekman of Quitman and
one step-son, Mark Kennedy of Houston, Missouri,
six step-grandchildren,
six step great-grandchildren,
two nieces and three cousins.
She is preceded by her first husband Wilbert Gene Babrick who she married in June 1, 1947
and passed away July 2, 1981.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at
Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th Street,
Little Rock, AR (501) 661-9111 with Reverend Harriett Akins-Banman officiating.
A visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Memorials may be to the Pulaski County Humane Society and or
Faith United Methodist Church, Little Rock, Arkansas.

Marie was a member of the Lapetite Roche a Chapter of the Arkansas Goodsams.
