William Kirk
Flanakin, age 93, of England went to his forever home
on June
6, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Flanakin,
his parents R. K.
and Minnie Lee Flanakin, and his son-in-law Randy Krablin.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and also served In the Army and
Navy. He was the
electrician for the Good Sam's Club where he was a
member for many
years. He retired from AP&L in 1993 after forty-seven
dedicated years of
keeping the lights burning in the England community.
He enjoyed traveling in his motorhome seeing the sights of the National
Parks and he
loved spending time with his family. He was a loving and
caring husband,
father, and papaw to his family.
He is survived by two daughters Denise (Randy) Krablin
and Leanne
Flanakin; one son,
Bill (Tink) Flanakin; one
brother, George (Linda)
Flanakin; eight
grandchildren: Justin (Cami) Krablin, Joshua (Kelly)
Krablin, Jacob Ross,
Jordan (Haley) Ross, Melody (Andy) Thomas,
Heather
(Darren) Johnson, Autumn (Clay) Causey, Kirk (Kayla) Flanakin;
13 great-grandchildren and three
great-great-grandchildren and a host of
friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Tommy Braswell and the staff at Cavalier
Nursing and
Rehab for the excellent care they gave during these last few
months.
Services will be Wednesday, June 9th, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Mulberry
Cemetery
Chapel. Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. also at the Mulberry
Cemetery
Chapel. Arrangements are being handled by Roller England
Funeral Home

Though He's gone, He is not forgotten.
Though absent, He remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, He now rests.
