August 7, 2024
Jimmy Ray Mauldin, 92, of Damascus was called home on
August 7, 2024. He
was born December 22, 1931 in Conway Arkansas to Nadine
Mauldin. Jimmy
was in the US Army from 1948 to 1951, during that time he
served in the Korean
War and received a
Purple Heart. He built a business in 1971, Mauldin's Inc,
and
worked up until the age of 88. He loved his family and friends
and spent many
years traveling in his RV with Good Sams
Club. Jimmy was a cut up and
enjoyed picking on people. He will be missed by all that knew
him. Jimmy was
preceded in death by his mother and stepdaughter, Mandy Bennett.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Virginia Mauldin; sons, Ricky
Mauldin, Steve
Mauldin, Randy (Sheila) Mauldin; stepsons, Billy (Shelly) Brown
and Shawn (Joni) Hill; stepdaughters, Paula Brown and Reginia (Chris) Bowie;
eighteen
grandkids and twenty-seven great grandkids; sister, Charlene Walthall
and a host of many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Roller McNutt
Funeral
Home in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Roller
McNutt
with burial following at Martinville Cemetery in
Damascus, AR.
Though He's gone, He is not forgotten.
Though absent, He remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, He now rests.
