March 19, 1940 - August 21, 2024
Jerry Scoggins was born March 19,
1940, in Clarksville, AR. He was born to
Russell and Lorene Scoggins.
He married Edie Mae Nowotnyy on June 20, 1959. They have two children, Phil
Scoggins of Clarksville and Randall
and wife Teresa Scoggins of Highland
Village, Texas, and two grandchildren,
Christopher of San Antonio and Robin of
Lewisville, Texas. He is survived by
two brothers, Keith and Jim Scoggins,
and one sister, Carol
Langdon.
Jerry served 40 years in the Arkansas
National Guard. He was a high school
teacher, human resource director and member of
the Masonic Lodge and Belle
Point Sam's RV Club. He was also a member of
Woodland Baptist Church,
where he served as a Sunday School Teacher and
Deacon.
Service will be on Monday, August 26,
2024, at the Woodland Baptist Church,
with Brother Bob
Powers officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M., with Services
at 11:00 A.M. and
burial following at Woodland Cemetery.
Though He's gone, He is not forgotten.
Though absent, He remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, He now rests.
