Gloria Louise Taylor
December 17, 1952 - August 29, 2024
Gloria Louise Taylor (ne Winterboer) passed away peacefully on August 29,
2024, in Lubbock, TX, at the
age of 71. Born on December 17, 1952, in Everly,
Iowa, she was a beloved figure in her
community and cherished by all who knew
her.
Gloria spent her career at Walmart
before retiring and continued to dedicate her
time as a volunteer at Crystal Bridges.
She was deeply involved in various
groups reflecting her passions, including
crafting, volunteering at local
organizations, and participating in both a birthday
and camping group. Gloria's
love for the outdoors was evident in her
commitment to her hiking club.
Known for her loving, giving, and kind
nature, Gloria was truly beautiful inside
and out. She was crazy about her family
and a cherished friend to many. Her life
was marked by her compassion and the joy
she brought to others.
She is survived by her children, John
(Jill), Jennifer (Adam), and Amy; sister,
Diane (Ralph); brother-in-law, Don
(Gale); 18 grandchildren; 14 great-
grandchildren; and numerous cousins and friends.
Gloria was preceded in death
by her mother, Phyllis Kettleman; father, Warner Winterboer;
mother-in-law,
Beaulah Taylor; her beloved husband and the
love of her life, Jack Taylor; and
son, Aaron Taylor.
Services to celebrate Gloria's life
will be held on Monday, September 09, 2024, at
4 PM CST at the Chapel in the Woods
(Michael B. Cooper Memorial Chapel),
504 Memorial Drive, with a gathering
afterwards at Medfield Clubhouse, Bella
Vista, AR 72714.
Though She's gone, She is not forgotten.
Though absent, She remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, She now rests.
