Linda Diane Smith Ferrell, age 74 of
Monticello, went to be with her Lord
Saturday, February 20, 2021,
at her home. She was born October 31,
1946, in Hamburg, AR to the late John Macelle Smith and Sybil Faye
McAbee Smith.
She was a retired manager of the
Monticello Employment Security
Division, member of Pauline Missionary Baptist
Church and a Drew
Memorial Hospital Pink Lady.
Diane loved to go camping, grow flowers,
teach her Sunday
School class but her greatest love was spending time
with her
grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded
in death by her son,
Dustin Ray "Rooster" Ferguson.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy
Ferrell of Monticello; her four
children, Shannon
Fletcher (Rhonda) of Rison, Tina Ferguson (Ray) of
Monticello, Angie Fedders
(Tony) of Farmington, MO and Wayne Ferrell of
Monticello; one brother, David Smith of
Monticello; one sister, Denise
Frost of Monticello; three grandchildren,
Holly Carter, Rebecca Gober and
Kaleb Davis; and four great grandchildren,
Jacob Carter, Cole Carter,
Kingston Gober
and Malachi Gober.
Funeral service following Covid-19
guidelines will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday,
February 27, 2021, at Pauline Missionary
Baptist Church with burial in
