Denise Cameron
July 22, 1962 - September 7, 2021
Billie Denise Cameron, 59, of Parkers Chapel
passed on to be with her Heavenly Father on
September 7, 2021
after a brief illness.
She was born on July 22, 1962 to the late Billie Mark
and Charlene Sanders of El Dorado, AR. While
attending West Side Baptist Church in 1981 she
met the love of her life and husband of 39 years,
Gary Cameron, whom she wed there on July
30, 1982.
Denise went to OBU for one semester before
returning home to start a career, as a beautician
and eventually to be with her husband and raise a
family. Once her children were grade school
age, she returned to school at SAU where she
obtained an Associate of Science in Nursing.
Upon completion of her degree, she started
working for the Medical Center of South Arkansas
and would later move to a career with Home
Health, where she worked for the remainder of her
career. Denise loved helping others and truly had a
servant's heart. She was a member of
Immanuel Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR where
she spent time helping with the library and
one could always count on being greeted with a
warm smile.
Denise enjoyed spending all of her spare time
surrounded by family and friends, watching her
children grow up and vacationing with her family at
the lake during the summer. Lots of fun
nights were spent watching movies and playing games.
When her children had gotten older, she
enjoyed spending quality time with her husband, after
his retirement. They enjoyed various
activities which included bus tours, camping, going on
cruises and fellowshipping with friends
and family.
She was preceded in death by her father,
Billie Mark Sanders and her grandparents. Those left
to cherish her memories are her husband, Gary of
Parkers Chapel, AR; children, Jeff Cameron
and Sharon Guthrie (William) of Kingwood, TX;
grandchildren, Reed, Kenzie and Garrett of
Kingwood, TX; mother, Charlene Sanders;
brother Bill Sanders (Suzette) and their children; and
numerous family and friend, all who loved her dearly
