Curtis C. Carmickle, 92, passed away January 21, 2019
at Randolph Home.
Curtis was born May 5, 1926 in Randolph County to John J. and
Letha Potter Carmickle.
He served in the Army
during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jimmie Carmickle; daughters, Marion Bloom and Kay Tallent;
brothers, Coleman and Lester Carmickle; sisters,
Helen Mondy and Gladys Carmickle.
He is survived by his wife, Marzell Carmickle of the home; daughter-in-law, Linda Carmickle of Hillsboro, MO;
son-in-law,
Kent Tallent of Russellville; grandchildren, Brandon
(Tam) Tallent of Fayetteville,
Ashley Tallent, Joshua (Brandi) Tallent, and Lena Cates all of Dardanelle,
Ross Carmickle and
Vanessa Black both of Fenton, MO; and great grandchildren, Emma, Ross, Bailey and
Julian.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 1-2 pm at
McNabb Funeral Home Chapel
with a
funeral immediately following at 2 pm with Nelson Henderson officiating.
Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers: Brandon Tallent, Joshua Tallent, Ross Carmickle, Danny
Rogers,
Charlie Seagraves,
and Ryan Gibson. Honorary pallbearer: Joe McKnight.
Though He's gone, He is not forgotten.
Though absent, He remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, He now rest.
