Age: 78

Charlie Daniel Lewis, 78 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Sunday,
March 9, 2014 at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia.

He was born on July 18, 1935 in Columbia County to the late Burt Hughs and
Fannie (Young) Lewis.

He retired as the Assistant Vice President of Commercial Loans at First National Bank
after forty two years of employment. He was a member of the Antioch East
Baptist Church, Gideons International, and the Dorcheat Sams Chapter of the Good Sam Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son in law John Leslie, Jr.

Charlie is survived by his wife of fifty nine years, Jo Ann Lewis of Magnolia;
Three children, Mary Blalock and David of Forney, Texas, Gary Lewis and
Cindy, and Donna Leslie both of Magnolia;

Five grandchildren, Elizabeth Jobson and Kyle of Forney, Khaila Melson and
Jacob of Stephens, Arkansas, Jody Leslie of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Bradley Leslie
And fiancé Alexandra Bond of Benton, Arkansas, and Mitchell Lewis of Magnolia;

Four great grandchildren, Taylin and Ainslee Melson of Stephens, and Caleb
And Zachary Jobson of Forney; a brother Carrol Lewis and Elizabeth of Magnolia;

And a sister LaNell Lewis Hudgens of Garland, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 2:00 pm
At Antioch East Baptist Church with Bro. Ron Owen officiating.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of
Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
At the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Gideons International or to Antioch
East Baptist Church Building Fund.

Pallbearers will be
Donald Lewis, Lewis Hudgens, Kyle Jobson, Jody Leslie, Bradley Leslie, and Mitchell Lewis.
