Billy Joe Jones, 77 of Taylor, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday,
November 16, 2011 at his home in Taylor.

He was born on September 27, 1934 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Jesse
Lee and Greorgia Eunice (New) Jones. He served in the United States Army
National Guard, was a member of the Taylor First Baptist Church, a member
of the Hughey Masonic Lodge #70, the Dorchet Good Sams, and retired
from Unit Structures.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jones of Taylor; two step daughters, Linda
Elledge and husband Lynn and Michelle Powell and husband Jeff both of
Magnolia; two step sons, Charles Goodwin and wife Mary and Andy
Goodwin and wife Sherel all of Taylor; special friends, Bill and Jan Hardin,
Charlie Lewis, and Willie B. Randle; six grandchildren, and five great
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10:00 am
at the Taylor First Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Wilson officiating. Burial
will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral
Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening
from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be
made to the Taylor First Baptist Church Building Fund.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Elledge, Charles Goodwin, Andy Goodwin, Brian
Goodwin, Cody Goodwin, Jason Robertson, Jeff Powell, and Charles Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Hughey Masonic Lodge #70 of
Taylor AR.

Though absent, He remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, He now rest.
