Born: November 10, 1943
Died: April 8, 2020
Mrs. Ann Wylie, age 76 of Hope,
Arkansas passed away Wednesday April 8, 2020, at her home.
Ann was born on November 10, 1943, to Pershing
M and Mary Hildebrand Cox. She was a retired
elementary teacher for the Spring Hill school
system and the Hope Public school system. She
joined the DAR in 1990 serving as regent
registrar, recording secretary, and treasurer, a member of
Hope Lions Club, Melon City Good Sams Club and of Baptist faith. She is preceded in death
by her husband of 55
years, Dale Wylie.
Survivors include; son Alan Wylie,
wife Deanne of Fordland Missouri, daughter, Cindy Durham,
husband Clifton, two
brothers; Mike Cox, wife Connie, Danny Cox of Prescott, Arkansas,
sister; Cathy Straley,
husband Beau of Aubrey, Texas, four grandchildren; Taylor and Erin Wylie,
Jordan and Kaitlyn Wylie, Michael and Emerald
Williamson, Mandi and Gray Ramsey, seven great-
grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial
contributions may be made to DAR of Arkansas,
Hope Lions Club and Melon City Good Sam's Club.
The Family wishes to give a special
thanks to the caregivers Kathy Greene, Veronica Mora,
Candie West and Erica
Dixon.
Graveside service will be 2:00pm on
Friday April 10, 2020, at Liberty Cemetery with Bro. James Cox
officiating. Burial to follow.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest
The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie Brazzel Director.
There will be a memorial service at a
later date to honor Mrs. Ann Wylie's life.
Though She's gone, She is not forgotten.
Though absent, She remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, She now rests.
