Alice Marie Powell,
97, of Stuttgart, widow of Robert
Powell, passed away Tuesday,
February 22, 2022.
She was born October
28, 1924, in Stuttgart to Adolph
Henry and Ida Marie Wessels. She was a
homemaker and member of St.
John's Lutheran
Church. Her hobbies were
China painting and
buying and selling antiques
and she loved working
in her yard. She and
her husband enjoyed camping
and were charter members
of the Good Sam
Mallards Chapter
(Stuttgart).
Besides her parents
and husband, she was
preceded in death by a
brother and a sister.
Survivors are her
son, Ronny Powell (Donna) and
her daughter, Karen
Herring (Larry), four
grandchildren, six
great-grandchildren, and one
great-great-grandson.
Though She's gone, She is not forgotten.
Though absent, She remains in spirit.
Though once a worker, She now rests.
