Everett George Uphoff was born in 1927 in Benson, Illinois, graduated, and
served in the Navy during World II. He attended the University of Illinois
and received a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and an Advanced Degree in Education.

Everett was a School Administrator in Illinois for 35 years. He and Bonnie
retired to Heber Springs, Arkansas in 1986, and were members of First
United Methodist Church. He enjoyed family, fishing, camping, and playing games.

Everett is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bonnie, 4 daughters, 6
granddaughters, 1 grandson, and 1 great grandson. A memorial service will
be held at First United Methodist Church in Heber Springs on Friday,
November 4, 2016 at 10:00 A.M.

Everett was an original organizer of Sugar Loaf Sams, Area 2.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to GodPleasers at FUMC,
The Methodist Boys Home in Heber Springs, or The Other Side in Wilburn, AR
